Preliminary eResilience Community App Results Available in January 2018

It's been 3 months since we launched the Sankofa Project. We followed-up with our first 46 graduates and documented clinically significant reduction in severity of trauma, depression symptoms, and in disability levels.

However, the numbers are still small to make firm clinical conclusions. We will continue to follow-up our participants, and release the first comprehensive data report for the first 100 participants in January 2018.

Please note that our initial action plan to also host groups in Uganda with South Sudanese refugees was not possible due to lack of resources. However, with the support of the United Nations Refugee Agency, UNHCR, and the Government of Uganda, Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), we conducted a field assessment trip in July 2017 across refugee settlements the South Sudanese border region. We are currently strategising to bring the Sankofa Project to Uganda in 2018.

Thank you to all of our supporters for making this project possible.
